Well this was a lovely weekend.
The sling is off - turns out the damage inflicted by Shane wasn't as bad as originally thought. I haven't been able to ski or tube -- but perhaps this coming weekend or this week sometime.
Anyway, Friday night was neat. Went to a Star Gazing party. Sitting on the beach and looking at the stars -- it doesn't get too much better. There was a guy there talking about the stars with a laser pointer and for the first time I was able to really see some of the constilations. I got a bandanna with a star map on it which glows in the dark. Love it! We saw Mars rising and stopped for ice cream on the way home at midnight.
I also saw "Kiss Me Kate" this weekend. I would love to do that show.... Oh why do there have to be so many guys in plays? Or as Kate says "I hate men!" lol
Hot! Today and yesterday -- perfect lake days!
Home Team starts this week. This will be interesting on Tuesday. Monday, OHMI begins -- yuck. That I can wait for. Then there is dance class, History and Lit (with Shane). I am also working on the pentonic flute and beginging violin again. I think I will wait until I can work with Ms. Judy to do my "internship" at the Waldorf Kindergarten. So, I'll be working over with Uncle John at OU on the graduate program research. He has a new graduate student....male and rather lovely to look at. I'm not sure when voice with Mrs. Berry starts again. Our Lady of the Lakes Choir begins later this month.
Wow! Thats just the tip of the ice berg! I am sure glad I decided against doing Bye Bye Birdie!
Well, "al" is waiting to read my update -- so I'll add more later.
